Areas of Influence

 

This is a bit abstract and harder to pin down but vital. Still with me? OK, every day we interact with friends, foe, family, randoms, work peeps, protesters, hairdressers and and and……. That's a lot of diverse people.

 

So, I'll keep this short, but it is important to communicate with your different circles about the climate, pollution and ecological crisis. You don't have to be all doom and gloom and hard hitting. Over time you'll see the same people again and each time you can introduce the conversation in a different way and try and refrain from becoming argumentative.

 

Keep posting on your social media and bring it up at different places. You will be surprised how much influence you have without getting positive feedback from people. Remember, its quite a big deal telling people that life in the future is not going to be great if we continue this path and many do not want to hear the bad news. Easier to repeat some juke science "the climate is always changing".

 

Be patient, learn what works in discussions, know your facts and bring some climate education into your conversations.
